At the beginning of the COVID Lockdown I began going for daily walks, exploring different points of view. This walk was an attempt to see the way birds see. I taped two GoPros together – back-to-back – and walked to the nearest park, holding them in front of me.

Ann-Marie LeQuesne stages performances with groups of people in public places. Her invitation to participate is open to all. Performances are filmed and then reinvented according to the material at hand. Rather than looking to a theatrical tradition, she is interested in performative rituals, everyday actions, performed out of context. In the Pandemic she has found new ways to collaborate with participants, often at great distances. Walking, particularly as a procession is an ongoing interest.
