(Slightly) Relaxed Soundwalks was a series of monthly soundwalks between July 2020 and July 2021. The soundwalks took place in urban green spaces and were tailored to the shifting conditions of COVID lockdowns: designed to be limited to small numbers, local to the corner of north-east London where we were both living and socially distanced to a greater or lesser degree (which ranged from walking 2 meters apart to communicating solely via a phone app and not meeting in person at all).

Billed as “a slow, in-depth exploration of the sounds and other sensory experiences” we took a relaxed and exploratory approach, experimenting with different approaches and sometimes recording sounds and sharing thoughts on WhatsApp or Telegram as we walked.
