Between December 2020-January2021 I created and facilitated a project for Social ARTery (weareaxis.org). I put out an open call for participants and we used digital tools (online group page and video calls) to meet, open dialogues and share online. People joined from mainly the UK, but also other countries. I set a framework for each meeting which was around us all being away from screens and physically exploring our local environments, mainly through psychogeographical inspired performative walking games and interventions. At the end of each meeting there was a game set which participants were offered to play in their own time and if they wanted to they could represent their experiences through an artform of their choice. A report I wrote about the project, including participants responses and thoughts, has been published on the SocialArtLibrary.org website.

Report on the project:

Rik Fisher does a variety of projects, often exploring how walking/play can be an accessible tool for people to be creative, critical and radical. Rik also works with collage and often disseminates work in zines, which can be used themselves as misguides. Rik is part several collectives and collaborates with various other groups.
